What impact-door service is

Impact glass doors are far heavier than standard sliders, so they wear rollers faster and need higher load-rated hardware. We replace worn rollers with the correct impact-rated parts, service the track, and adjust the door so it operates and latches properly. We service and adjust existing impact doors — we do not install doors, replace glass, or perform structural/permit work.

Common symptoms

• Your impact door is heavy, dragging, or hard to move
• It won't latch or seal correctly
• The rollers feel worn (impact doors wear them faster)
• It is noisy or catches on the track

What we check

• Roller condition and the correct impact-rated (load-rated) replacement
• Track condition and coastal fouling
• Lock/latch and how the heavy door seals
• Adjustment and smooth, safe operation

We fit the correct impact-rated rollers, service the track, and adjust the door. (Door/glass installation and structural work are outside our scope — we focus on repair, service, and adjustment.)
